Mini India will launch the locally assembled Countryman C very soon.

Mini India has opened pre-launch bookings for the Mini Countryman C, signalling a further expansion of its locally assembled portfolio. Bookings began on April 22, 2026, across authorised dealerships nationwide.

This follows the brand’s confirmation that the new Countryman C will be locally assembled at the BMW Group Plant Chennai. Unlike the fully imported Countryman Electric range and the performance-focused JCW All4, the Countryman C will be positioned as a locally built, petrol-powered, front-wheel-drive offering, aimed at improving accessibility and pricing.

Positioned as a practical premium SUV, the Countryman C combines Mini’s signature design with improved space and everyday usability. It is targeted at buyers looking for a blend of urban appeal and versatility, while retaining the brand’s distinctive driving character.

With this addition, Mini India’s Countryman range now spans multiple powertrain options. The Countryman C focuses on petrol efficiency and comfort, while the JCW Countryman All4 caters to performance-oriented buyers. The Countryman Electric range, including E and SE All4 variants, represents the brand’s growing push towards electrification.

Mini India currently has 12 sales touchpoints across nine cities, supported by an aftersales network integrated with BMW Group India, which covers 51 service locations in 36 cities.
