Xiaomi held an exclusive product launch event in Barcelona ahead of MWC to unveil its latest flagship smartphone lineup — the Xiaomi 14 Series and a new Pad 6S Pro tablet to the global markets. Xiaomi has continued its strategic partnership with Leica, integrating Leica Summilux optics across the new 14 Series cameras. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra offer flagship performance via the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
At the keynote, William Lu, Partner and President of Xiaomi Corporation and President of Xiaomi International Business Department, showcased the company's upgraded "Human X Car X Home" smart ecosystem strategy.
The star of the show was the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, with its distinctive circular camera module designed with Leica. Xiaomi claims the 14 Ultra delivers superior photography experiences with its quad-camera setup spanning 12mm to 120mm focal lengths and headlined by a 50MP primary camera with a 1-inch image sensor. It is also the first smartphone to support 8K video recording across all cameras.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 6.73" AMOLED display with a stunning WQHD+ resolution and variable 1-120Hz refresh rate. It has a 5000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging and 80W fast wireless charging.
The compact Xiaomi 14 was also unveiled with an upgraded triple camera system led by a 50MP primary camera with a f/1.6 aperture. It boasts a 6.3" AMOLED LTPO display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a 4610 mAh battery with 90W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging.
In addition, Xiaomi launched the new Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 tablet targeted at productivity. It features a massive 12.4-inch 3K display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It has a massive 10,000mAh battery with 120W charging, a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera.
