MWC 2024: Xiaomi Unveils New Lineup of Smartwatches & Fitness Tracker

At this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Xiaomi announced the global launch of its latest smartwatches and fitness tracker. The lineup includes the Xiaomi Watch 2, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro.

Xiaomi Watch 2 features & specifications

The Xiaomi Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with up to 600nits brightness. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip and comes with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 495mAh battery that promises to last up to 65 hours on a single charge. Running Google's Wear OS, the Watch 2 offers over 200 third-party apps. It supports over 160 sports modes and offers features such as heart rate monitoring, camera remote and GPS.

Xiaomi Watch S3 features & specifications

Xiaomi Watch S3 has a similar 1.43-inch AMOLED screen but runs on Xiaomi's new HyperOS. It offers interchangeable bezels and straps for customization. The Watch S3 is marketed for its long battery life of up to 15 days from its 486mAh cell. It tracks health vitals like heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep patterns. The watch also allows Bluetooth calling.

Xiaomi Watch Smart Band 8 Pro features & specifications

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro sports a larger 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It provides over 150 sports modes for tracking and health features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis and blood oxygen levels from its upgraded sensors. The fitness band supports up to 14 days of usage from its 289mAh battery.

Pricing starts from EUR 69 for the Smart Band 8 Pro, EUR 149 for the Watch S3 and EUR 199 for the Watch 2. While these devices will be initially available in select European markets, Xiaomi did not confirm India launch plans.
