New-Gen Audi Q3 India Launch Confirmed For October 16

Having debuted the hotly anticipated new-generation Q3 SUV recently, Audi India will be launching the SUV on October 16, 2026. The third-generation Audi Q3 is all set to arrive in a completely new avatar. It marks the start of a new era and strategy for Audi, with more global models to follow soon. The new Audi Q3 is based on the same platform as its predecessor, but the design language is completely new. The styling is more tech-first and futuristic with the split headlamps sporting LED Matrix units, a large single-frame grille, body-coloured cladding, illuminated Audi logos, an LED light bar on the tailgate, and LED taillights with animation options. The SUV rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The cabin sports a completely new setup with the curved display comprising one for the digital display and the other for the infotainment system. The SUV now gets a four-spoke steering wheel, a steering column-mounted gear lever, and a panoramic sunroof. It also comes with a Sonos premium sound system, multi-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera with auto-park function, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets Level 2 ADAS as part of the safety kit.

The new-gen Audi Q3 will continue to draw power from the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine tuned for 200 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT. The SUV will be the only offering in its segment to get a petrol-all-wheel drive combination with Quattro available as standard.

Pre-bookings for the new Audi Q3 have commenced for a token of ₹1 lakh. The entry compact luxury SUV will take on a host of offerings including the BMW X1 LWB, MINI Countryman, and Mercedes-Benz GLA in the segment.
