The new Audi Q3 can be booked for an initial amount of ₹1 lakh at authorised dealerships or on the company’s website.

Audi India has announced opening bookings for the third-generation Q3 SUV, ahead of its launch slated for next month. The new Audi Q3 can be booked for an initial amount of ₹1 lakh at authorised dealerships or on the company’s website. The new-gen Q3 recently made its India debut and arrives in a completely new avatar, leading the charge for a new lineup of Audi cars coming to India in the next few months.

Speaking about the new Q3, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, said, “Today marks an exciting milestone as we open bookings for the all-new Audi Q3. The all-new Audi Q3 brings together everything today’s Audi customer is looking for — a striking and progressive design, sophisticated technology, dynamic performance and everyday versatility. It is unmistakably Audi, yet more expressive, more intuitive and more connected to the way our customers live today. We have seen strong interest in the all-new Q3, and the opening of bookings is an important moment for us as we continue to strengthen our SUV portfolio.”

The third-gen Audi Q3 arrives sporting a completely new design language. It gets split Matrix LED headlamps, a larger single-frame grille, and a wider air intake section on the bumper. The Audi logo is now two-dimensional and illuminated at the front and rear. The rear profile gets split LED taillights with a connected light bar, while you have silver skid plates on the bumper at either end for a sporty look.

The new Q3 measures 4,531 mm in length with a 2,681 mm wheelbase, and is wider than before at 1,859 mm, and taller too at 1,623 mm. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. While Audi has not opted for the extended wheelbase for India, unlike its rival, the new Q3 is larger in proportions than its predecessor. The cabin gets the new panoramic display with dual screens for the 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. The gear selector has been moved to steering column liberating more room in the centre console. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, connected tech, and more.

Power on the third-gen Audi Q3 will come from the tried and tested 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine tuned for 201 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic, with power going to all four wheels via the Quattro all-wheel drive system. Notably, the new Q3 will be the only petrol AWD option in the segment. Audi says the new Q3 can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 229 kmph.

The new Audi Q3 will take on the Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1 Standard and Long Wheelbase models in the segment.
