Hyundai’s popular subcompact SUV, the Venue, is gearing up for a full model change, and fresh spy shots of the next-generation version have now surfaced. The updated model, slated to debut in India in October 2025, will continue to compete in the crowded sub-four-metre SUV segment against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.

The test mule seen in recent images reveals notable exterior design changes aligned with Hyundai’s latest SUV styling philosophy. Prominent updates include split LED daytime running lights, vertically stacked dual-pod headlamps, a reworked front grille with multiple rectangular inserts, faux skid plates, and a new alloy wheel design. The SUV also gains updated roof rails, adding to its visual appeal.
At the rear, the new Venue is expected to sport wraparound LED tail lamps, a high-mounted stop lamp, a shark-fin antenna, and a redesigned rear bumper that integrates the number plate recess. These design tweaks collectively suggest a more robust and modern appearance for the next-gen model.

While the interior of the upcoming Venue has not yet been revealed, reports suggest significant enhancements are likely. Expected additions include a reprofiled dashboard, updated seat upholstery, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera system, and the inclusion of a more advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite.
Mechanically, Hyundai is expected to retain the existing engine options from the current-generation Venue. These include the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission choices are also likely to continue unchanged, comprising a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
