The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift showcases an evolutionary design approach rather than a revolutionary one. Notable changes include a refreshed grille, redesigned headlamps, and bumpers at the front. Additionally, the new Swift features redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels and relocated rear door handles now positioned lower on the C-pillar. At the rear, inverted C-shaped lighting elements adorn the taillamps, complemented by heavily revised tailgate and bumper designs. Maruti Suzuki offers the new Swift in two fresh body colours – Luster Blue and Novel Orange, and a range of existing colours such as Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.

Inside the cabin, the new Swift boasts a layered dashboard design inspired by models like the Fronx and Baleno. A standout feature is the freestanding 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with connected car technology for higher trim levels. Lower trim variants receive a 7-inch touchscreen. Other features include a wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, a new climate control panel, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and more.
Safety-wise, the new Swift comes with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and three-point seat belts for all seats with reminders as standard. While the fourth-gen Swift received a four-star rating in the latest Japan NCAP testing, the results may vary for the India-spec model. Nevertheless, the car remains based on the Heartect platform.

Under the hood, the new Swift is powered by a new petrol engine integrated with mild-hybrid technology. The vehicle employs a new Z-Series, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine generating 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT along with improvements in the fuel efficiency figure. Additionally, introducing a hydraulic clutch mechanism claims smoother clutch engagements and disengagements. The Swift now returns 25.75 kmpl with the AMT and 24.8 kmpl with the manual version (ARAI claimed).
Maruti Suzuki has also announced two accessory packages- Racing Roadster and Thrill Chaser. Additional optional accessories include front grille inserts in various colour options, window frame kit, seat covers, carbon + painted interior styling kits, exterior styling kits, hood and roof graphics and more.
