The latest Kushaq facelift teaser shows updated connected LED lighting at the front and the rear, along with a larger grille.
Skoda has officially teased the upcoming 2026 Kushaq facelift in a new video, revealing some interesting details about the compact SUV’s updated design.
From the teaser, the front shows a modern, sleek light signature: sharp, angular LED daytime running lights form a distinctive T-shaped pattern, connected to a continuous horizontal LED strip running across the grille, like on the new Kodiaq. This creates a futuristic, connected-light-bar effect with dotted segments, clearly differentiating it from the current Kushaq. The grille on the facelift is also expected to be larger than the one on the current model.
The rear features red glowing rectangular LED segments arranged in a dotted pattern, with the word "SKODA" illuminated boldly in red letters below, accompanied by trailing dotted lines. This points to connected or slimmer tail-lamps bridged by a protruding LED strip on the tailgate, a change from the current model's chunkier, separate C-shaped tail-lights, giving a more tech-forward appearance.
Other than this, the cabin of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift is set to receive a host of upgraded comfort and convenience features, helping it stand stronger against fresher competitors in the compact SUV market. Key expected additions include a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument cluster with refreshed visuals, and a larger, more advanced touchscreen infotainment system featuring updated graphics and improved user interface.
For the 1.5-litre TSI models, rear disc brakes are likely to be introduced. Top variants across both engine options should offer Level 2 ADAS (including features like adaptive cruise control and lane assist), along with a 360-degree camera and superior camera resolution for easier parking and safety. Reports also highlight a standout segment-first: a rear-seat massage function, which could elevate rear passenger luxury and set the Kushaq apart from rivals.
The Kushaq facelift is expected to be unveiled tomorrow, January 19, 2026. We expect the prices of this model to be revealed very soon as well.
