The Bajaj Chetak C25 e-scooter is offering an early bird price of ₹87,100 for the first 10,000 customers. This translates to a discount of ₹4,299 on the launch price of ₹91,399. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Bajaj Auto has officially opened order books for the newly launched Chetak C25 electric scooter, and the company is offering an early bird price ₹87,100 for the first 10,000 customers. This translates to a discount of ₹4,299 on the launch price of ₹91,399. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The new Bajaj Chetak C25 is the most accessible e-scooter in the brand’s lineup, and the latest offering aims to make the model even more affordable for customers. Deliveries are currently underway for the Chetak C25 across key cities.

Bajaj says the early-bird offer has been rolled out to mark the positive customer response on the Chetak C25. The model is primarily targeted at buyers looking for a no-nonsense electric runabout, while retaining the salient bits of the bigger Chetak 35 Series. Much like its sibling, the new Bajaj Chetak C25 retains a metal body, neo-retro design language, vibrant colours, and a comfortable riding position. It does get an inexpensive hub motor, more compact proportions with a 100 mm shorter wheelbase, and fewer features, including an LCD instrument console instead of a TFT unit.

Powering the Bajaj Chetak C25 is a 2.5 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 113 km on a single charge. The hub motor produces a modest 2.2 kW (2.9 bhp) and has a top speed of 55 kmph. It can climb a 19 per cent gradient with two people on board, according to the company. The e-scooter has a kerb weight of 107 kg, identical to the Honda Activa, while the seat height is a convenient 763 mm. The model comes with a 750-watt off-board charger, which can charge the battery from 0-80 per cent in 2 hours and 25 minutes, whereas a full charge will take about four hours.

Other standout bits on the Chetak C25 include a 25-litre under-seat storage capacity, hill hold assist, guide-me-home lighting, disc brakes, and more. The early-bird makes the Chetak C25 more lucrative over the TVS Orbiter and the new Ampere Magnus G Max.
