Nissan Gravite is essentially a re-engineered Renault Triber based on the CMF-A+ platform.

Nissan has launched the Gravite at a starting introductory price of ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the Renault Triber, the resemblance between the two subcompact MPVs is uncanny. Yet, the Gravite has some unique touches that differentiate itself from its French cousin. Let us look in what ways the Nissan Gravite is different from Renault Triber.

Nissan Gravite Vs Renault Triber: Exterior Styling

The Gravite looks more premium and modern with Nissan’s signature V-motion inspired grille up front that is broader with gloss-black honeycomb inserts headlined by a chrome lining. Meanwhile, the Triber gets a sleeker gloss black-finished grille with vertical elements in it. The rear end feels more familiar with similar taillight clusters. The only difference here is the brand logo and lettering.

The profile and silhouette of both cars are also identical, testifying that both cars carry the same body shell. The only other visual difference is the colour palette of each model. The Gravite comes with five colour options namely Storm White, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, Metallic Grey, and Forest Green. The Triber, on the other hand, is available in six exterior colour options including Zanskar Blue, Stealth Black, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, Shadow Grey, and Amber Terracotta. The last three shades are also offered with the option of a black roof as well.

Nissan Gravite Vs Renault Triber: Interiors & Features

The interiors and equipment of the Gravite and Triber are like mirrors held up against each other. There’s hardly anything to distinguish between the two cars. The Triber offers a solitary dual-tone black and greige (grey-beige) interior theme whereas Nissan offers three different dual-tone interior themes with the Gravite namely Durable, Dynamic, and Sophisticated.

Besides features, the Nissan Gravite offers a better claimed in-cabin storage which is 31 litres. Boot space in both MPVs can expand up to 625 litres with the third row removed.
