Nothing's upcoming Phone 3a lineup will retain the brand's distinctive semi-transparent rear panel.
Nothing is preparing to introduce its new Phone 3a lineup on March 4, purportedly featuring two models: the Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro. Now, extensive details, design elements, and pricing have been leaked by the company ahead of the official launch.
Nothing's upcoming Phone 3a lineup will retain the brand's distinctive semi-transparent rear panel featuring the company's signature Glyph lighting system, according to recent information.
The standard Phone 3a will incorporate a rectangular camera module, while the Pro variant will feature a circular camera arrangement.
In a notable shift from previous release strategies, Nothing will not introduce a Plus model in this product cycle. Instead, the Pro model will serve as the direct replacement for what would have previously been positioned as the Plus variant in the company's smartphone portfolio.
Both devices in the Phone 3a series are expected to feature 6.77-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates and Panda Glass protection. These screens will reportedly deliver impressive peak brightness levels of 3,000 nits.
The smartphones are likely to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The standard Phone 3a will reportedly come in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The Phone 3a Pro is expected to be available in a single 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant.
Both models are reported to feature a triple camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The Pro model will reportedly offer enhanced zoom capabilities with 3x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom, compared to the standard model's 2x optical and 30x digital zoom.
The front-facing cameras will also differ between models, with the Phone 3a featuring a 32-megapixel sensor and the 3a Pro equipped with a higher-resolution 50-megapixel sensor for superior selfie quality.
Both devices are expected to include a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
According to a report, the Nothing Phone 3a may be priced at EUR 349 (approximately Rs 31,600) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB model could cost EUR 399 (around Rs 36,100). The Phone 3a Pro is anticipated to retail at EUR 479 (roughly Rs 43,400) for its single configuration.
