Ola Electric Registers Its Best Ever Sales

Ola Electric has released their sales figures for December 2023, and going by the numbers the manufacturer claims that it has now captured 40% of the electric 2W segment in India. 

In December 2023, Ola Electric recorded 30,219 registrations, which is a 74% Y-o-Y growth compared to registration figures in December 2022. This is also the manufacturer’s highest-ever monthly registration in its two years of production. 

Although, Ola Electric has not divulge any information about how much of these registrations converted to actual sales. It did boast that the company has emerged as the first-ever EV 2W manufacturer to record over 2.65 lakh registrations in 2023 (as per Vahan portal). 

Additionally, Ola Electric also achieved yet another milestone in December 2023 by reaching an “industry-first” production of 4,00,000 electric scooters. 

“We believe that we have continued our market leadership for yet another quarter on the back of our strong product lineup,” said, Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, Ola Electric. 

Ola Electric recently expanded its product line-up and launched the new S1 X series, which is available in three variants - S1 X+, S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X(2kWh). The S1 X+, is priced at ₹ 1,09,999, followed by the S1X (3kWh) priced at ₹99,999, and lastly, the S1 X (2kWh) is priced at ₹89,999 (all ex-showroom price).

Both the S1 X(3kWh) and S1 X (2kWh) are available for booking at the moment and interested customers can book them for a token amount of ₹999. Their sales are yet to commence. Ola Electric is also offering the S1 X+ with a flat ₹20,000 discount on its ex-showroom price, for a limited period though, thereby bringing down its price to ₹89,999.
