Ola S1 Pro Sport Launched At ₹1.50 Lakh With 4680 Battery

Ola Electric has launched its sportiest S1 yet, the S1 Pro Sport. The electric scooter has been launched at an introductory price of ₹1,49,999 (ex-showroom). Being its sportiest offering, the new Ola S1 Pro Sport features a new sharpened design. It will be powered by the brand’s 4680 type cells, which is known for its higher energy density, quicker charging time, and low cost of production. 

The Ola S1 Pro Sport will be powered by a 5.2 kWh battery that Ola claims is good for 320 km of range on a single charge. The battery will come paired to the brand’s new rare-earth free 16 kW strong Ferrite-Magnet motor that produces 71 Nm, and is good for a top speed of 152 kmph, while accelerating from 0-40 kmph in 2 seconds. 

On the aesthetic front, Ola has tried to make the regular S1 Pro look sharper and sportier. Key changes that’ll instantly grab your attention will include the redesigned fairing design, the carbon fibre grab handle,14-inch wheels and the new aero windshield. Interest buyers can book the Ola S1 Pro Sport for a token amount of ₹999, however, deliveries for the same have been planned for this diwali, however, Ola Electric is yet to confirm the same.
