Ola S1 X Gets A Major ₹ 20,000 Discount

Ola has a new limited-time offer for the S1 X, the most affordable one e-scooter in its lineup. The Plus variant of the S1 X is available with a discount of ₹20,000, reducing the price from ₹1,09,999 to ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). This offer is valid until the year-end of 2023, starting from December 3. This puts the S1 X as one of the most affordable electric scooters on sale in India.

The Ola S1 X has a 3 kWh lithium battery pack that offers a certified IDC riding range of 150 km on a single charge. The battery powers a 6 kW motor that is claimed to go from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds and attain a top speed of 90 km/h. It is based on Ola’s Gen 2 platform, which has removed the centre spine on the floorboard. It rides on 12-inch wheels with a telescopic fork and dual shocks. Sadly, it features drum brakes at both ends.

The design of the Ola S1 X combines elements of traditional scooter design with a modern touch evident in the overall Ola lineup. Characterised by a sleek body and round panels, the X model stands out with subtle distinctions such as a larger headlamp cowl. It is offered in seven colours - Red Velocity, Midnight, Funmk, Stellar, Vogue, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver. In terms of features, the Plus trim boasts a data-intensive five-inch TFT display, in contrast to the 3.5-inch unit found in the other two versions. Additionally, it provides a generous 34-litre under-seat storage space.
