Handset maker Oppo on Thursday launched its latest flagship smartphones -- the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro -- in India. This marks Oppo's foray into the premium smartphone segment in the country with the Find X8 Pro priced at Rs 1 lakh. The series was officially unveiled at a physical event in Bali, Indonesia.
The Oppo Find X8 series of devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and are the first to debut in India with Android 15, paired with Oppo’s ColorOS 15.
The Find X8 Pro, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at Rs 99,999. The standard Oppo Find X8 is available in two variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage at Rs 69,999 and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage at Rs 79,999.
These models will be available for purchase starting December 3 through the Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and select retail outlets.
Both the Find X8 Pro and Find X8 boast a premium glass-metal construction with sleek, uniform bezels. The Find X8 features a flat-panel display similar to the iPhone 16, while the Find X8 Pro offers a more immersive 4D curved screen. Both smartphones come equipped with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro come with rapid 80W wired charging and offer wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities.
The Find X8 is equipped with a 5,630mAh battery while the Find X8 Pro boasts an larger 5,910mAh Silicon Carbon battery, marking the largest battery Oppo has ever included in a smartphone.
Oppo has also incorporated unique features such as an alert slider and a physical "quick button" for the camera, something we've seen Apple do with the iPhone 16 lineup. This quick button allows users to quickly activate the camera and zoom in or out, supporting up to 120x zoom.
The Oppo Find X8 has three 50 MP cameras, while the Find X8 Pro comes with four, with both phones benefiting from Hasselblad camera tuning.
The Find X8 Pro stands out as one of the few smartphones to include two telephoto lenses: a 3x zoom lens and a 6x zoom lens, both integrated into a dual-periscope camera system with a Triple Prism Fold Reflection System.
