Over 7,500 Riders Unite Globally to Celebrate 24th International Jawa Yezdi Day

The 24th annual edition of International Jawa Yezdi Day (IJYD) concluded on July 12, 2026, marking one of the motorcycle industry's most enduring rider-driven heritage celebrations. Originating as a grassroots community gathering among individual owners, the event has transformed into a globally recognised tradition that unites multiple generations of motorcycling enthusiasts.

Held annually on the second Sunday of July, the event serves as a platform where vintage, decades-old Jawa and Yezdi models share public highways alongside the brand's modern line of machinery. The 2026 edition mobilised more than 7,500 motorcyclists across 150 cities in India alone, supported by 40 regional enthusiast communities.

The movement expanded its geographic footprint internationally, with rider participation recorded across 11 countries through localised road rallies, community gatherings, and digital media interaction. To establish a unified global presence, international Jawa collectives aligned their events with Indian riding clubs under a single identity, bridging separate regional events into a cohesive international community narrative.

The logistical scale of this year's synchronised rides was managed through the combined coordination of over 40 distinct Jawa-Yezdi riding clubs, authorised corporate dealerships, and independent automotive enthusiasts. This collaborative structure ensured the event preserves its founding ethos of being organised by riders, for riders’.
