Ashutosh Dixit Porsche

Dixit has around twenty eight years of work experience in the automotive sector, with close to two decades inside the Volkswagen Group.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has named Ashutosh Dixit as brand director of Porsche India with immediate effect. In March 2026, we had told you that he had taken interim charge as Brand Director of the company. He takes charge of Porsche India after the exit of Manolito Vujicic, who moves out of the Volkswagen Group.

Dixit has around twenty eight years of work experience in the automotive sector, with close to two decades inside the Volkswagen Group. His experience covers markets in India, China and Europe and spans sales, network roles and brand roles across group companies.

Before the Porsche India assignment, Dixit served as market development director at Porsche Middle East and Africa. In that role he worked on programmes for the India market from the regional office and handled market development for other territories in the Middle East and Africa region.

Dixit entered Porsche in April 2025 in the market development position and later took additional charge of Porsche India on an interim basis after Vujicic’s exit. Porsche has seen growth in India during this period, with higher demand for models like the Cayenne, Macan and Taycan, and the brand now seeks further expansion in the country.

Before his time at Porsche, Dixit held roles at Audi AG, Volkswagen, Audi FBU operations and Skoda India within the wider group. He has also headed the Marketing and Sales division for Skoda Auto India in 2015. Earlier in his career he also worked with General Motors in sales and marketing and network functions.

His portfolio across these stints has included sales operations, brand work, product work, network development and global sales projects. According to Porsche Middle East and Africa chief executive Manfred Bräunl and Škoda Auto Volkswagen India managing director Piyush Arora, Dixit will now focus on Porsche India network plans, brand tasks and business performance in the country.

The company says India remains a focus market and that the leadership move aims to keep the current momentum in Porsche India operations.
