Renault is offering an industry-first 7-year standard warranty with the new Duster.
Renault has finally taken the covers off the all-new Duster which makes a comeback to the Indian market almost four years after getting discontinued. Based on the Dacia Bigster concept that broke cover back in 2021, prices for the new third-gen Renault Duster will be revealed in mid-March.
Pre-bookings for the latest iteration of Duster begin today while deliveries will begin from April onwards in a phased manner depending on the engine options . Launched in 2012, the original Renault Duster played a key role in popularising the monocoque SUV configuration, blending car-like comfort with rugged capability. The new model promises to be more sophisticated than the previous model yet retains the utilitarian appeal of the original SUV.

The India-spec Renault Duster will receive some unique touches in order to distinguish itself Compared to its international counterpart, the India-spec Duster will feature several distinct design elements. These include slim LED headlamps paired with eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights. Spy images also indicate the presence of a camera module positioned near the centre of the front grille, suggesting the availability of a 360-degree camera system.
Below the grille, the front bumper incorporates a three-slat air intake, a wide lower air dam and redesigned fog lamps on either side. By contrast, the international-spec Duster is expected to adopt a sleeker front bumper with extensive cladding, broader air intakes and circular fog lamps, while a sculpted bonnet further enhances its muscular stance.

The third-gen Renault Duster adopts a modern yet utilitarian layout, similar to the international model. The new Duster offers an extensive range of modern features, such as a 10-inch freestanding touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument display, electric powered tailgate, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, and a premium six-speaker sound system.

As far as safety is concerned, the new Renault Duster comes equipped with six airbags, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System.

Renault is offering three powertrain options with the new Duster. This includes a 10-litre turbocharged petrol mill borrowed from the Kiger that churns out 99 bhp. There is also a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 161 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful engine in its segment. Finally, there is a new 1.8-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine option with dual electric motors that puts out a combined output of 160 bhp.
