Renault India Opens New'R Store in Jharkhand, Grows Network to 638 Touchpoints

Renault India has grown its nationwide retail and service network to 638 touchpoints, and also opened Jharkhand's first new'R store in Ranchi, a move the carmaker on Tuesday said reflects its push into emerging markets. The expanded network spans dealerships, workshops and mobile service units catering to both urban and semi-urban customers. A key element of the rollout is a fleet of 200 workshops on wheels, mobile service units designed to bring maintenance and repair support to remote and underserved communities, thus, sparing customers the need to travel significant distances for routine servicing.

The Ranchi outlet brings together sales and service under one roof across more than 3,000 sq ft, housing multiple display units, dedicated service bays and a delivery area. The format is in keeping with Renault's new'R concept, an experiential showroom design built around intuitive layouts, premium customer interactions and hands-on product engagement.

The expansion forms part of Renault India's effort to modernise its retail presence and deepen its foothold beyond major cities, with the new'R format positioned as a template for how the brand intends to engage customers across a broader range of locations.

According to Francisco Hidalgo Marques, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Renault India, Jharkhand is emerging as a key market for the brand.
