Rockstar Games Set to Unveil GTA 6 Trailer in December Milestone

Rockstar Games, the renowned game studio, has declared that the eagerly awaited trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) will premiere in early December. Speculation has been rife about the imminent unveiling of GTA 6, and Rockstar has now confirmed that the first glimpse of the next instalment in one of the most celebrated gaming franchises will be revealed as the studio approaches its 25th anniversary.

"We are thrilled to announce that the first trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto will be released in early December. We are looking forward to continuing to share these experiences with all of you for many years to come," Rockstar Games proclaimed via Twitter.

Although Rockstar officially came into existence on January 22, 1999, its inception occurred in December 1998. It is likely that the trailer will debut on this precise date, a quarter-century later, potentially during the Game Awards scheduled for December 7, 2023. GTA 6 has been the subject of speculation for over a decade following the release of GTA 5, which coincided with the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the early 2010s. Despite the advent of the next generation of consoles, a new GTA title has yet to emerge.

Reports from 2020 indicated that development on GTA 6 was underway, yet Rockstar remained silent on the matter until 2022. A significant data breach later exposed in-development footage of the game, leading to speculation that the game's release could occur between April 2024 and March 2025.
