The Rolls-Royce Spectre was launched in India at ₹7.75 crore (ex-showroom, India).
Rolls-Royce is all set to introduce its first all-electric production car — the Spectre — in India, and it’s coming in the brand’s high-performance Black Badge avatar, joining the standard Spectre launched last year. The launch is scheduled for June 21, the company has confirmed. Globally unveiled earlier this year, the Spectre Black Badge retains the same 102 kWh battery pack as the standard variant but comes with a significant boost in performance. While the standard Spectre is already on sale in India at ₹7.75 crore (ex-showroom), the Black Badge version is expected to carry a premium, likely priced around ₹8.50 crore (ex-showroom).

Power now stands at 650 bhp and 1,075 Nm of torque—an increment of 81 bhp and 175 Nm over the base Spectre. These figures are unlocked via a new “Infinity" driving mode, designed to enhance the car’s performance credentials. Power is delivered to all four wheels, enabling the coupe to accelerate from 0–100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. Despite the performance bump, Rolls-Royce claims the Spectre Black Badge can still deliver a driving range of 493–530 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge, depending on driving conditions.
To support the increased performance, the British marque has made several mechanical enhancements. These include a revised chassis, heavier steering feel, and updates to the roll stabilisation system aimed at improving dynamic handling. The dampers have also been recalibrated to reduce squat during heavy acceleration, while continuing to maintain the high levels of ride comfort associated with the brand. Different drive modes alter these parameters, allowing the car to adapt to various driving styles and road conditions.
Visually, the Spectre Black Badge retains the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy mascot and the signature Pantheon grille, now surrounded by a mirror-polished black finish. This blackened trim extends to the side window surrounds and door handles, further differentiating the Black Badge from its standard sibling. The launch model wore a striking Vapour Violet exterior, although customers will have access to 44,000 colour options, as is customary with Rolls-Royce. Completing the exterior package are 23-inch, five-spoke forged alloy wheels, exclusive to the Black Badge version.
Inside the cabin, the Spectre Black Badge continues the brand’s hallmark of handcrafted luxury but adds a more contemporary and vibrant aesthetic. The highlight is the ‘Starlight’ illuminated fascia, which includes 5,500 individual stars arranged to form intricate patterns across the dashboard.
The instrument cluster is customisable through five Black Badge-exclusive themes: Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet, and Synth Wave. As expected, nearly every interior element can be tailored to the customer’s specifications, from the upholstery materials to the colour stitching and even the types of veneer finishes.
