The teaser released by Royal Enfield for the Himalayan 450 reveals a few crucial details about the company’s new ADV.
Royal Enfield has sent across an invite along with a teaser for the upcoming Himalayan 450 ADV. The official media ride for the brand new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will take place between October 30 and November 1, 2023. The teaser video released by the homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer reveals some crucial details about the Himalayan 450. For starters, the brand new Himalayan will ride on spoked wheels and come with disc brakes at either end. The Himalayan 450 will come with an LED headlamp and a sleeker design in comparison to the current-generation Himalayan.

There’s also a solid looking bash plate that looks ready for some adventure touring. Royal Enfield will also carry over some of the details like the grab handle next to the headlamp with a Royal Enfield badge on either side finished in black, albeit in a slightly sleeker design. The teaser also clearly shows that signature Himalayan beak and windscreen at the front along with a fairly large oil cooler. Another crucial detail is the fact that the new Himalayan will get upside-down forks.

Last month, AckoDrive spotted the Himalayan 450 test mule on the outskirts of Chennai. Royal Enfield is expected to fit the brand new Himalayan liquid-cooled engine, which will be a first for the bike maker. The upcoming Himalayan will feature a 6-speed transmission and might also be equipped with slipper clutch. Another new key element is the trellis frame that should not only improve the Himalayan 450’s handling but also help in keeping the weight in check. Although the Himalayan 450’s arrival has been confirmed, Royal Enfield will first launch an updated Bullet 350 with a J-series engine, and a few changes besides. We’ll be sure to bring you all the updates about the Himalayan 450 and Bullet 350!
