Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450 Rally Edition, debuting at EICMA 2025, will likely get terrain-focused upgrades while retaining the proven 452cc engine.
Royal Enfield will globally debut the Himalayan 450 Rally Edition at EICMA 2025, marking its strategic push to strengthen the adventure segment nearly two years after the current Himalayan 450 launch.
This dedicated variant, previewed through a teaser highlighting off-road-focused ergonomics and reinforced components, aims to attract endurance riders seeking superior capabilities across diverse terrains.
Expected features include upgraded long-travel suspension, a taller seat, reinforced subframe, and broader footpegs for improved stability during extended rides.
The Rally Edition will retain the Himalayan 450’s 452cc liquid-cooled engine, though Royal Enfield may refine its mapping and gearing to optimise performance for rally conditions. With the Himalayan Rally Edition, Royal Enfield is reinforcing its commitment to the adventure motorcycle space, building on the Himalayan’s legacy.
There are reports that the company will also debut a bigger 750cc twin-cylinder Himalayan at EICMA 2025. The 750cc motor is expected to eventually replace the current 650cc parallel-twin unit that does duty on a host of Royal Enfield premium motorcycles.
