The upcoming 750 cc adventure tourer has been spotted on a number of occasions
Just after a recent sighting of the Him-E test bed in Ladakh, Royal Enfield has released a set of images where its top brass have been seen riding the new Himalayan 750 in Ladakh. It is quite similar to when the first official teaser of Himalayan 450 was released by Royal Enfield boss Sid Lal himself, a couple of years ago.

And before one speculates the production readiness of the Himalayan 750, we should let you know that the bike is due to arrive in the next 12 months. Royal Enfield will be giving its 650 cc engine platforms a thorough update by upping the displacement to 750 cc. This new engine series will first debut on the Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 750 with the Himalayan 750 soon thereafter. Expect this engine to now make 50-55 bhp with 60-65 Nm on demand.

There's not a lot of new bits spotted on the Himalayan 750. It has the similar design language as the Himalayan 450 but with a broader muscular body. Long-travel USD fork, 19-/17-inch spoke wheels and dual purpose tyres make up the cycle parts. For more details on the Himalayan 750, check out our deep dive here.

The Himalayan 750 will become the new flagship offering from Royal Enfield. It will have stiff competition, though, not only from the Kawasaki Versys 650 but also from the likes of the smaller, lighter parallel-twin 450 cc ADVs that are arriving soon like the BMW F 450 GS and the Aprilia Tuareg 457. If Royal Enfield does manage to price it close to the ₹4 lakh mark, it surely has a winner on its hands.
