Samsung Enhances Bixby With Cricket Features Ahead Of ICC CWC 2023 Final

Samsung has added cricket-specific capabilities to its virtual assistant Bixby to engage sports fans in India. The new features, announced today, allow Bixby users to get live scores, standings and schedules for cricket matches and tournaments with simple voice commands.

Powered by sports content platform Sportskeeda, Bixby Cricket brings real-time score updates, points tables and upcoming match listings for ongoing events like the ICC Cricket World Cup. Users can ask Bixby "What's the score?", "Show the World Cup points table" or "Show me upcoming matches" to access the information instantly.

The features have been rolled out to existing Bixby users in India without any additional downloads or installs. Cricket is hugely popular in the country, and major tournaments are regularly held, so Samsung aims to make the experience more accessible and enjoyable for fans through Bixby.

With Bixby Cricket, Samsung looks to enhance user engagement on its devices by leveraging the passion for the sport. Fans can get cricket updates easily through simple voice commands on Samsung smartphones, TVs and other products.
