Samsung is set to elevate its smartphone manufacturing strategy with ambitious production plans for the purported Galaxy S25 series and foldable devices in the next year, says a report by The Elec.
Samsung's Galaxy S24 line has demonstrated remarkable market success, driven significantly by novel Galaxy AI features. The current flagship series is projected to ship approximately 35 million units in 2024, surpassing last year's Galaxy S23 performance.

Building on this momentum, industry sources anticipate the Galaxy S25 series will potentially reach 37 million units, representing a two million unit increase, the report added.
During second quarter (Q2) earnings, Samsung reported double-digit growth in Galaxy S24 series shipments and revenue compared to the previous year. Market intelligence firm Counterpoint Research highlighted the Galaxy S24's inclusion in the top ten best-selling phones during Q3 2024 -- a milestone not achieved since 2018.
