Samsung to Launch New Galaxy S21 FE 5G with Snapdragon 888 in India

Samsung has officially confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) relaunch in India. The new Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant is powered by the powerful 5nm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The initial release of the Galaxy S21 FE in India last year featured the Exynos 2100 SoC. However, this new model will offer significant upgrades, including the Adreno 660 GPU and a generous 256GB of onboard storage.

While Samsung has not revealed the exact launch date, a press release confirmed that the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE 5G will make its way to India in July. Samsung has created a dedicated landing page on its official website featuring the new Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant with a "coming soon" tag. Interested users can register their contact details with Samsung to receive the latest updates on the launch and availability of the new handset.

As for pricing, Samsung has not revealed the cost of the new Galaxy S21 FE. However, recent reports suggest a price tag of around Rs. 49,999 for the device. Last year's Galaxy S21 FE 5G was launched at Rs. 54,999 for the 128GB storage variant and Rs. 58,999 for the 256GB option. It is worth noting that the current Exynos 2100 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE is available for purchase starting at Rs. 32,999.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate along with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The phone has a triple rear camera setup that includes two 12-megapixel sensors and an 8MP telephoto lens, and a front 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging support.
