Skoda will be bringing out the Kushaq facelift next week. This will be the first major update to the Kushaq ever since it was first launched in 2021. In fact, it was the first model to be launched under the Skoda Volkswagen Group’s India 2.0 programme. With the compact C SUV segment at its prime with several new launches in recent times, the Kushaq desperately needs a facelift.
The Czech carmaker has now teased the updated Kushaq on social media, building up anticipation ahead of its launch. Although the vehicle in the teaser remains under a green cover, it can be safely assumed that updates are more likely to be functional than cosmetic in the facelifted Kushaq.
Recent spy images have suggested subtle changes to exterior styling of the Skoda Kushaq, although the overall design will remain the same. The updates are likely to be concentrated on the front and rear ends. Up front, the headlamp assembly and bumper are expected to see minor revisions. The signature Butterfly grille appears to have grown larger cascaded by slimmer LED daytime running lamps (DRLs).

The rear section of the updated Kushaq is expected to feature slimmer taillamps, which could be linked by a prominent protruding element on the tailgate. Additionally, the compact SUV has been spotted with a new set of 17-inch matte black alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to offer a broader range of comfort and convenience features to better compete with newer rivals in the compact SUV segment. Anticipated updates include the addition of a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, and a larger and upgraded touchscreen infotainment system with refreshed graphics, along with improvements to the air conditioning system.

Skoda is also likely to equip the 1.5-litre TSI variants with rear disc brakes, while Level 2 ADAS is expected to be offered on the top trims across both engine options. According to recent reports, the updated Kushaq may introduce a segment-first rear-seat massage function, further differentiating it from competitors. Additionally, the SUV is expected to benefit from the inclusion of a 360-degree camera and overall enhancements to camera quality.
