Skoda has released teasers for its new midsize, seven-seat electric SUV, a rival to the Kia EV9, expected to go on sale in 2026.
The new EV is based on the Vision 7S concept car which was just over 5000-mm long and was said to have an 89-kilowatt-hour battery for a range of 600 km. The Vision 7S concept included features such as a 14.6-inch rotating dashboard screen and a reverse-facing baby seat fixed to the center console. It also debuted Skoda's new 'Modern Solid' design language.
Skoda teased the seven-seat EV during its 2024 earnings call on March 13 but did not disclose any further details.
