The Bravia Theatre Quad Home Audio System can also be hooked up with an add on woofer
Sony India has launched the Bravia Theatre Quad, a new home audio system designed to provide a cinematic audio experience in the living room. The Bravia Theatre Quad will be available across Sony retail stores, major electronic stores, and e-commerce websites in India from 22 April 2024, with a best buy price of ₹1,99,990.
The Bravia Theatre Quad features 360 Spatial Sound Mapping, which creates a three-dimensional audio environment, replicating the soundscapes of cinemas. The system also includes Sound Field Optimisation, which automatically adjusts audio settings based on the room's layout and acoustic characteristics to ensure optimal performance.
The audio system seamlessly integrates with compatible Bravia TVs through the Bravia Acoustic Centre Sync feature, ensuring perfect alignment between sound and visuals. The Voice Zoom3 technology enhances dialogue clarity, making speech crisp and clear even in noisy scenes.
The Bravia Theatre Quad is compatible with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos technologies, offering a cinema-quality experience at home, a claim that Sony makes boldly. The system can be controlled using the new Bravia Connect App, which allows users to manage settings and enjoy personalised audio adjustments from their smartphones or tablets.
The audio system also integrates with popular streaming platforms and voice assistants, including Alexa, Airplay2, and Spotify, and features Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming. The Bravia Theatre Quad comes with four wireless speakers that can be mounted on a table or wall, and a control box with HDMI (eARC) and Optical connectivity options. Optional wireless subwoofers are available for those seeking deeper, more powerful bass.
Sony has incorporated environmental initiatives into the Bravia Theatre Quad, using recycled plastic and fabric made from recycled PET bottles in its construction. The company has also focused on accessibility, ensuring that the product can be used by all customers, regardless of disability or age.
