The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer will target India's growing anime fan base with this themed vehicle collaboration.
Suzuki has partnered with the popular Naruto Shippuden anime franchise for the Avenis scooter in India. The collaboration was announced at the 'Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!' festival in New Delhi.
The collaboration represents the company's latest effort to connect with younger consumers in the Indian market through pop culture partnerships. After all, Naruto Shippuden is one of Japan's most popular anime and manga series, following the adventures of a young ninja. The franchise has built a significant following worldwide, including among Indian audiences.
The Suzuki Avenis is powered by the same 124.3 cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.58 bhp and 10 Nm. Standard features on the scooter include a front storage compartment with a USB socket, an external fuel cap, and 21.8 litres of storage space beneath the seat.
The Suzuki Avenis 125 will continue to compete against the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125 and Hero Xoom 125.
