Suzuki has previewed a number of its exhibits for the upcoming Japan Mobility Show, set to be held in Tokyo from October 30 to November 9. The company’s theme this year is “By Your Side”, indicating a more personal, problem-solving approach to personal mobility and infrastructure, with emphasis on alternative fuels and sustainability. The exhibits include multiple concepts, tech demos, and pre-production versions of upcoming models across cars, bikes, vans, robotics, and more.
A number of models shown off and launched in India will make their Japan and global debuts. Beyond vehicles, the company will also show off its progress on developing compressed biomethane (CBG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) ecosystems which have particular significance to India.
Of particular interest to India, a Frox Flex Fuel concept will be on display as a technology demonstration. This could be one of the first flex fuel models to launch, in line with expectations that cars capable of running on up to 85 percent ethanol-blended fuel will come to India within the next few years. While Suzuki has splashed huge decals across the body of this exhibit, it should look no different to the existing Fronx if and when it hits the roads, apart from possibly a small badge.
Suzuki says it aims to expand its options for carbon-neutral vehicles in line with the frameworks laid down by various countries and regions in which it operates, and flex fuel vehicles will be just one way to achieve that.
In addition, CNG/CBG versions of the Victoris SUV and Access scooter will be on display, along with a mockup of a biogas plant established in India in collaboration with dairy unions to repurpose agricultural waste.
The all-electric Vision e-Sky concept is a small, sub-4m city car with a claimed range of 270km. This will be a world premiere for Suzuki, with a commercial version expected to come out in FY2026, aimed at daily commuters and urban drivers. With the motto of “Unique, Smart, Positive”, Suzuki says this car will make people feel “positive and cheerful” thanks to its design.
On the other hand, the e EVERY minivan concept is aimed at commercial applications. While designed to be user-friendly, vehicle-to-home or vehicle-to-grid power connectivity can be leveraged during an emergency, in what the company says is a way to contribute back to society. It uses a BEV framework jointly developed by Suzuki, Daihatsu, and Toyota.
Non-concept car exhibits will include the e VITARA, X BEE, Jimny NOMADE, and SPACIA models.
Another global premiere, the e-VanVan bike is designed to be fun to ride. It’s based on Suzuki's VanVan leisure bike from the 1970s, with a playful body style, colours and graphics. It will be a 125cc equivalent,
The e-Address electric scooter, which was first shown off at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year as the e-Access, is now touted as a “global strategic BEV”. The company is likely to adapt it to serve multiple global markets, calling it highly practical and refined, with modern technology and adequate range for urban users.
The e-PO, foldable 50cc-equivalent electric-assisted bike with pedals is designed around leisure and comfort, which the company calls "a new genre of mobility".
Suzuki will demonstrate the state of its Hydrogen fuel development efforts, with a concept Burgman bike. The goal of this concept is to give enthusiasts a bike that’s fun to ride, with the sound of an exhaust, yet still environmentally conscious. The company showed off an earlier concept in 2023, and is eager to show how it has progressed with Hydrogen vehicle development.
Another model making its way from India to Japan will be the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, which was also shown off at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025. The standard model has been modified with a special injector, fuel pump and engine control settings, making it able to run on 85 percent bioethanol fuel.
The second generation of Suzuki’s four-legged MOQBA robot will make its world debut, two years after the original. It can be adapted to various purposes such as package delivery.
The MITRA concept is a micro electric mobility platform that could underpin multiple types of robots that require autonomous driving and AI capabilities for fields as diverse as agriculture, logistics, and construction.
Suzuki is working with Glydways, a startup aiming to develop autonomous pod-like minicars to serve the on-demand urban transportation market. The concept involves multiple such cars traveling in packs along dedicated road lanes.
Making its world premiere, the SUZU-RIDE 2 is an electric compact mobility solution with luggage space. It’s touted as easy to operate, nimble, and fun to ride. The company will also mark 40 years of its line of personal scooters for elderly people, helping them overcome limitations in everyday life.
