Swiggy SNACC features a distinctive fluorescent green and dark blue interface.
Leading food delivery platform Swiggy on Wednesday forayed into the 15-minute food delivery space with the launch of its standalone app SNACC. The app, which debuted in select areas of Bengaluru, represents Swiggy's departure from its all-in-one app model that previously housed its food delivery, quick commerce, and dining services.
Swiggy SNACC, featuring a distinctive fluorescent green and dark blue interface, offers a curated menu spanning Indian Breakfast, Coffee, Bakes, Cold Beverages, and protein-rich options. While partnering with brands like Blue Tokai and The Whole Truth for certain categories, SNACC also sources unbranded items from third-party food providers.
The intensifying competition in India's quick-service food delivery sector has seen increasing activity from both established players and newcomers, with Blinkit's Bistro, Zepto Cafe, and Swish all vying for market share.
Ntably, the ultra-fast food delivery segment has witnessed remarkable growth, mirroring that of quick commerce services.
Notably, Swiggy's Bolt service, launched in early October, has already captured five per cent of the company's total food delivery orders during the July-September period, expanding from six cities to over 400 locations, says a report by MoneyControl.
