The Tata Curvv Coupe SUV will launch in India on August 7, 2024. The Indian manufacturer’s latest model will be one of the two products that kickstart the mass-market coupe SUV segment in India. We have now learnt that the Curvv will get three personas, Tata’s new nomenclature for its trims, and three different sizes for the infotainment system.

The Curvv.ev will get three personas – Smart, Accomplished and Empowered. However, the internal combustion engine (ICE) version will only get two – Accomplished and Empowered. While the details regarding the features haven’t been revealed yet, we expect the Curvv to come with up to a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Smart persona is likely to come with a 7-inch touchscreen, while the Accomplished persona is likely to come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The largest screen size will be reserved for the top-spec Empowered persona.

Martin Uhlarik, head of global design, Tata Motors confirmed that the Curvv will come with up to 18-inch alloy wheels, a size smaller than the Harrier/Safari and two sizes larger than the Nexon/Nexon.ev. However, like the 12.3-inch touchscreen, the 18-inch alloy wheels will most likely be available only on the top-spec persona. Furthemore, the Curvv ICE and electric versions will have different designs for the alloy wheels.
The Curvv.ev’s powertrain specifications are yet to be announced but it is expected to come with a claimed range of more than 500 km on a full charge. Like other electric vehicles (EVs) from Tata Motors, the Curvv.ev is also expected to have two battery pack options as well as two powertrain options.
Moreover, the Curvv ICE is expected to get a petrol and diesel powertrain. The former will be a new 1.2-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine, while the latter will be a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both are likely to be mated to manual and automatic gearbox options.
