The Harrier EV was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2023
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Harrier EV will be launched in India in FY25. The Harrier EV was first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo and then again at the Bharat Mobility Show 2024. While the company had said that the car will arrive on Indian shores soon, we now finally have an update. The Curvv EV will be the first to arrive and the Harrier EV will be launched after that which leads us to believe that the car will be launched early next year. We already have confirmation that the Curvv EV will be launched just ahead of the festive season.

The arrival of the Harrier EV will take the tally of electric cars for Tata Motors to 6. Currently, the company has 4 EVs in its portfolio and the Nexon EV is the highest selling product in the country. The Harrier EV will be positioned above the Nexon and Curvv EVs and the range expected is around 500 km of a single charge.
The Harrier EV is based on the new Acti.ev platform, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles. The interior of the Harrier EV is just as impressive as the exterior. The car has a spacious and comfortable cabin, with plenty of room for five passengers and their cargo. The infotainment system is also top-notch, with a large touchscreen display and all the latest features. The Tata Harrier EV boasts an elongated coupe-like silhouette, embodying a bold, powerful, and we expect it to come with the intelligent electric all-wheel-drive system.
Given that the current pricing for the Harrier ICE ranges from ₹15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) to ₹26.44 lakh (ex-showroom), we expect the Harrier EV to have a starting price of around ₹30 lakh.
