The Ace Pro claims to be India’s most affordable four-wheeled mini truck.
Tata Motors has unveiled the Ace Pro, a next-generation iteration of its widely successful small commercial vehicle, with a starting price of ₹3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the Ace Pro India’s most affordable four-wheeled mini truck, building on the legacy of the original Tata Ace. The new model arrives with improved capability, smarter technology, and multi-fuel powertrain options, including Petrol, Bi-Fuel (CNG + Petrol), and Electric variants.
The Ace Pro is built on a modular platform boasting a payload of 750 kg and a 6.5-foot deck, available in factory-fitted half-deck or flatbed configurations. The Tata Ace Pro petrol comes equipped with a 694 cc engine delivering 30 bhp and 55 Nm, while the Tata Ace Electric offers 38 bhp and 104 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 155 km on a single charge. The battery and motor are IP67-rated. The Tata Ace Bi-Fuel version has a 5-litre petrol reserve to eliminate range anxiety while producing 26 bhp and 51 Nm in CNG mode.
The Ace Pro features a crash-tested, AIS096-compliant cabin ergonomically designed with ample storage, a digital instrument cluster, and an optional infotainment system.
Adding intelligence to utility, the Ace Pro comes equipped with Fleet Edge, Tata Motors’ connected vehicle platform that now supports over 8 lakh vehicles. The platform provides real-time insights into vehicle health, driver behaviour, and predictive maintenance. Additional driver aids include gear shift advisor and reverse parking assistance.
