Tata Nexon CNG Launched In India At ₹8.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has expanded its CNG range in the country by introducing the new Nexon CNG at a starting price of ₹8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the Nexon CNG, Tata Motors now has petrol, diesel, and electric versions of the subcompact SUV in its India portfolio. The Nexon CNG will be available in 8 trims- Smart, Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative+ and Fearless +PS trims.

The new Tata Nexon CNG has a slew of features at its disposal which includes- a panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, 360-degree surround camera, 8 speakers, ventilated front seats, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, leatherette seat upholstery, and sequential LED DRLs with welcome and goodbye animation.

At the heart of the Tata Nexon CNG is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 99 bhp and 170Nm of peak torque, coupled to a single 6-speed manual gearbox. Thanks to its dual CNG cylinder tech, the Nexon CNG offers a boot space of 321-litre, down from the 382-litre provided on the standard Nexon and returns 24 km/kg.
