The Tata Nexon is available with a petrol and diesel engine. The petrol engine in question is the 1.2-litre turbocharged (Revotron) engine that produces 118.2 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre turbocharged (Revotorq) diesel engine is good for 113.3 Bhp and 260 Nm of torque.
Tata Nexon Transmission
Both engines come with a 6-speed manual or an AMT transmission. With the Nexon facelift, Tata Motors has introduced the 7-speed DCA and a 5-speed manual transmission for the petrol engine.
The Nexon comes with three driving modes: Sport, City and Eco. Sport mode is the best bet if you wish to extract the maximum performance out of the car. The Nexon is a good highway car as it can easily reach triple-digit speeds, and overtaking should not be a problem.
