The Nexon is the company's best selling SUV to date and in fact from 2021-23 it's been the top selling SUV in India.
It's been 7 years since the Nexon subcompact SUV hit the Indian market and since then Tata Motors has sold 7 lakh units of the car. The last 1 lakh unit sales have come within just 7 months which shows how strong the demand for the car is. The 7 lakh number includes both the ICE and the EV versions of the Nexon.
The Tata Nexon was the biggest-selling SUV for three years in a row till 2023, and going by this record, it might continue to hold on to this distinction into 2024 as well.

Tata Motors is also celebrating this occasion by offering the Nexon with discounts of up to ₹1 Lakh. The discount amount varies from variant to variant, with the Creative+ S variant getting the maximum discount of ₹1 lakh while the base-spec Smart variant is available with the lowest discount of ₹16,000.
When asked Tata Motors about the difference in discount numbers for various models, an official stated that it was done on the "basis of customer feedback".
Currently, the Tata Nexon is priced from ₹7,99,990 (ex-showroom India). The range is available with the choice of both petrol and diesel engine options, along with four gearbox options ranging from a 5-speed manual to a 6-speed manual along with a 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DCA gearbox option as well. The top-spec Fearless+ S variant with the 1.5-litre diesel engine will set you back by ₹15,59,990 (ex-showroom) on top of which it will be available with a flat discount worth ₹60,000 for a short period though.
