In a stunning fusion of Hollywood spectacle and cutting-edge electric motorcycle technology, Tom Cruise brought the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris to an electrifying close. The action star, renowned for his daring stunts, took centre stage in a spectacular flag handover ceremony while mimicking an "Ethan Hunt" persona.
Cruise made a dramatic entrance by rappelling into the Stade de France to collect the Olympic flag. But it was his exit that truly captivated the world's attention. Mounting a sleek, all-black 2024 Harley-Davidson LiveWire S2 Del Mar, Cruise zoomed out of the stadium, setting the stage for an exhilarating journey through the streets of Paris.

Built on the innovative ARROW architecture, the LiveWire S2 Del Mar is an urban tracker that combines power and agility in a lightweight package. Harley-Davidson calls it an "Urban Street Tracker," and its design blends elements of urban and flat-track motorcycles.
Its high-mounted handlebars and narrow rear section gave Cruise a commanding riding position as he navigated the Parisian streets. The bike's 19-inch wheels, wrapped in Dunlop DT1 tyres, ensured stable handling. At the same time, the single-disc brakes with radially mounted Brembo callipers offered reliable stopping power – crucial for Cruise's precision riding through the city. As for its performance, it can do 0-95 kmph in just 3 seconds and comes powered by a 10 kWh battery that is good for 181 km of range (in the city).
The use of the LiveWire S2 Del Mar in this globally watched event not only showcased Harley-Davidson's commitment to electric mobility but also positioned the bike as a symbol of innovation and excitement—qualities that align perfectly with the Olympic spirit and Tom Cruise's adventurous persona.
