Honda continues to be the undisputed heavyweight, its Activa scooter ruling the roads with a whopping 1,73,760 units sold. The Dio, despite a slight dip, secured fifth place.
TVS holds its ground with the Jupiter and NTorq at second and fourth positions, respectively. Their consistent performance, backed by sales figures of 74,225 and 27,227 units, reflects a loyal customer base.
Suzuki, meanwhile, makes impressive strides with the Access and Burgman, grabbing third and sixth places with sales of 55,386 and 15,869 units, respectively. Both these products require a basic tech update for 2024.
The real buzz comes from the EV segment. TVS's iQube and Bajaj's Chetak, though at seventh and ninth positions with sales of 15,652 and 14,144 units, are gaining momentum. While their volumes are lower compared to their fuel-powered counterparts, their presence signifies a rising interest in sustainable mobility.
