The 2.2-litre MX turbocharged diesel engine provides a strong punch with 152 bhp, making it one of the most powerful options in this segment. 

Additionally, the company is offering several trims to choose from with a suite of latest tech as well as Level-2 ADAS to prioritise safety. The XUV700 is also available in a three-row seating layout. 

Tata Harrier

The new Tata Harrier has built quite a reputation for itself since its launch 3 years ago. Hyundai Alcazar

The Hyundai Alcazar is essentially a stretched version of the Hyundai Creta with added room for a third-row. Priced at ₹17.73 lakh (ex-showroom, India) the Alcazar Prestige 7-seater version with the 1.5-litre diesel engine makes for a good choice in this list. Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass is possibly the oldest in this list, launched way back in 2017. In its Sport 2.0 guise, the Compass is priced at ₹20.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and comes in both manual and automatic versions. It develops 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque, and comes in both 4x2 and 4x4 versions.
