Besides electric two-wheelers, TVS also posted a 77 percent YoY growth in three-wheelers in January 2026.
TVS Motor Company has posted a solid growth of 29 percent year-on-year (YoY) overall growth for the month of January 2026. The Hosur-based manufacturer registered 511,766 units of wholesales in the first month of CY2026. The company had recorded a volume of 397,623 units exactly a year ago. In December 2025 TVS sold 481,389 units. Monthly sales in Jan 2026 exceeded Dec 2025 by about 6.3 percent.
Two-wheelers continue to be the backbone for TVS with 494,195 units dispatched in January this year, registering a YoY growth of 28 percent with sales increasing from 387,671 units registered in January last year. Domestic two-wheeler registered growth of 30 percent with sales increasing from 293,860 units in January 2025 to 383,262 units in January 2026.

The motorcycle segment registered a growth of 26 percent with sales increasing from 174,388 units in January 2025 to 219,188 units in January 2026. Scooters registered a growth of 30 percent with sales increasing from 171,111 units in January 2025 to 222,926 units in January 2026. Electric two-wheelers registered a promising growth of 50 percent with sales increasing from 25,195 units in January 2025 to 37,756 units in January 2026.
The EV surge has been largely driven by TVS’ electric scooters namely iQube and the newly-launched Orbiter. In December 2025, TVS dispatched 35,177 iQube units to dealerships nationwide. In the process, TVS has now sold over 8 lakh unit sales of the iQube in India.

Three-wheelers of TVS registered a growth of 77 percent with sales increasing from 9,952 units in January 2025 to 17,571 units in January 2026. TVS’ total exports registered a growth of 21 percent with sales increasing from 101,055 units in January 2025 to 122,343 units in January 2026. Two-wheeler exports grew by 18 percent with sales increasing from 93,811 units in January 2025 to 110,933 units in January 2026.
