The Exclusive Edition is based on the top-spec Innova Hycross ZX (O) variant.
Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has launched a new variant of the Innova Hycross, called the Exclusive Edition, at ₹32.58 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is based on the top-spec ZX (O) variant of the Innova Hycross and is ₹1.24 lakh more expensive.
The Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition is available only in two shades of white – Super White and Pearl White. It also gets blacked out elements like the roof, grille, alloy wheels, emblems, and rear garnishes. It also gets a new front and rear underbody spoiler, some garnish on the grille, garnishes on the wheel arch and ORVMs, and chrome garnish on the tailgate.
Inside, the Hycross Exclusive Edition will get a dual-tone black and red interior with red elements on the instrument panel, doors, seats and the front centre armrest. Toyota has also added an air purifier, leg room ambient lighting and a wireless charger to the Exclusive Edition. All of the additions in the Exclusive Edition can be acquired from the aftermarket segment, without really affecting the warranty since they’re mostly cosmetic. However, spending the extra ₹1.24 lakh will not only get you the additional equipment but also exclusivity since the Exclusive Edition will be limited in numbers. Unfortunately, what that number is, has not been mentioned by Toyota.
Since it is based on the top-spec ZX (O) variant, the Hycross Exclusive Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine with a strong hybrid assist, producing 184 bhp (combined). The Innova Hycross does not have direct rivals in the industry apart from the Maruti Suzuki Invicto (₹25.51 - 29.22 lakh), but it also competes with the BYD eMAX 7 (₹26.90 - 29.90 lakh).
