Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded highest-ever FY26 sales of 4,06,081 units, up 20%. March sales rose 24% YoY, with strong demand across domestic and export markets.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor reported its highest-ever annual sales in FY2025-26, with total volumes reaching 4,06,081 units, registering a strong 20% year-on-year (YoY) growth over 3,37,148 units in FY25.
In March 2026, Toyota sold 37,194 units, marking a 24% YoY increase compared to 30,043 units in March 2025. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales momentum remained steady, indicating consistent demand across both domestic and export markets.
For the full financial year, domestic sales stood at 3,67,107 units, growing 19% YoY, while exports surged 41% to 38,974 units.
Toyota’s performance was driven by strong demand across SUV, MPV and compact segments, supported by a refreshed product lineup. Key models such as the Innova Hycross, Fortuner and Urban Cruiser range contributed significantly to volumes.
The company also introduced updates and special editions across models, enhancing customer engagement. Safety upgrades, including standardisation of six airbags across multiple models, further strengthened its value proposition.
Toyota is expected to very soon reveal the price list of its first-ever EV in India, Urban Cruiser EBella, very soon. Basically a badge-engineered Maruti Suzuki e Vitra, the EBella is expected to retail between 16-21 lakh ex-showroom.
