Toyota has introduced a new accessory package for its Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV, called the Prestige Pack. This dealer-level package is being offered for a limited time across all petrol and hybrid variants of the Hyryder. For about ₹23,000, the Prestige Pack brings about visual appeal without altering its mechanical setup, for an additional cost over the standard variant pricing. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is priced between ₹11.34- ₹20.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The package focuses entirely on exterior enhancements and does not involve any changes to the interior features or powertrain. Among the key additions are door visors and a new Urban Cruiser Hyryder badge prominently placed on the bonnet. Chrome elements are a central theme in this pack, with decorative garnish applied to the front fender, tailgate lip, and both the front and rear bumpers. The headlamps and tail lamps also receive chrome surrounds.

One of the notable aspects of the Prestige Pack is that it is not limited to any specific variant. It can be equipped across the entire Hyryder range, regardless of powertrain. The Hyryder continues to be offered with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 101 bhp and is paired either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. In addition, Toyota also offers a 114 bhp strong-hybrid version, which uses a petrol-electric powertrain mated to an e-CVT. For buyers seeking more capability, there is also an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option, available exclusively with the manual version of the mild-hybrid petrol engine.

The introduction of this limited-time accessory bundle aligns with Toyota’s broader strategy of offering customisation options to buyers directly through its dealerships. Such cosmetic enhancements are increasingly popular among Indian consumers, particularly in the compact SUV segment, where visual distinction and perceived premium value play a key role in purchase decisions.
Although it does not involve any performance upgrades or additional equipment, the Prestige Pack allows Toyota to refresh customer interest in the Hyryder with a relatively low-cost update. Additionally, with growing competition from rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Prestige Pack is a subtle but timely move to keep the Hyryder relevant in a dynamic market.
