TSUYO Manufacturing Pvt Ltd has launched its Gen 3.0 IPM motor and controller architecture for electric three-wheelers on 14 February 2026 in New Delhi. The company introduced India's first AMT solution for electric three-wheelers along with a magnet-less SynRM motor.
The Gen 3.0 IPM motor features external Hall sensor placement and split-phase cabling for heat dissipation. The controller housing uses aluminium for thermal performance and includes LED-based fault indication for diagnostics. The AMT solution enables range extension and load handling for low-power motors.

TSUYO's hairpin winding technology delivers 20% higher performance compared to existing motors. The company also introduced a flat tube axle with a gear interface for L3 and Mini-L5 vehicles. The SynRM motor reduces dependence on imported rare-earth materials.
India's electric three-wheeler market reached 699,073 units in FY2025, registering 11% growth. The market value stood at USD 1.32 billion in 2025. Sales in November 2025 surged to 83,682 units, with cumulative 11-month sales crossing 700,000 units. India holds 57% electric share in the three-wheeler segment.
TSUYO has sold over 200,000 motors and partnered with 50+ OEMs in four years. The company operates two manufacturing facilities in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Vijay Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO of TSUYO Manufacturing, stated the portfolio addresses operating conditions and cost requirements for Indian users.
