TVS MotoSoul 2023, the annual motorcycles and music festival organised by TVS Motor Company is currently underway in Vagator, Goa. Interestingly, the event is happening concurrently with the India Bike Week 2023 at the same location. On the first day of the event, TVS made several announcements including a collaboration with a riding gear manufacturer.
The Indian motorcycle manufacturer’s racing division – TVS Racing – joined hands with Alpinestars to produce cobranded riding gear and apparel. This will include helmets, riding jackets, riding pants, gloves and other protective gear as well as merchandise like jackets, t-shirts and more.
TVS says the aim of the collaboration is ‘not only to enhance the safety and performance of riders but also to create heightened visibility, showcasing the synergy between two brands committed to excellence in the world of motorcycling.’
On this collaboration, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, commented, “This partnership signifies our commitment to rider safety, comfort, and style, ensuring that our customers enjoy the thrill of riding with the globally renowned best-in-class gear.”
Along with announcing the Alpinestars partnership, TVS also showcased seven custom motorcycles based on the Apache RTR 310 and the Ronin. These custom motorcycles have been built in collaboration with popular custom bike builders from different countries.
Smoked Garage from Indonesia built two custom bikes based on both bikes. The Apache RTR 310-based Trickster is a freestyler stunt bike, while the Ronin-based Ryoma is a street scrambler. Rajputana Customs showed up with a Scrambler based on the Ronin, called the Brat. The four other bikes were built by TVS Factory Racing and included one bobber and three stunt bikes.
Sumbly added, “We are excited to unveil seven exceptional custom builds at TVS Motosoul, demonstrating our passion for pushing the limits of design and performance. These builds showcase the versatility of our products, and exemplify our commitment to offering an unparalleled experience.”
Other events at MotoSoul included customer experiences such as the Drift-R drifting school, a virtual gaming arena and other unique engagement zones. MotoSoul 2023 also saw performances by Farhan Akhtar and Karan Kanchan.
