JSW MG Motor India has become the second-largest brand in India's luxury electric vehicle segment, driven by sales of the MG Cyberster and MG M9 Presidential Limousine. BMW currently leads the luxury EV segment in the country though.
Both the Cyberster and M9 currently have waiting periods of three to four months. The company also announced that the MG Cyberster has become India's highest-selling sports car since its launch in July 2025, with 256 units sold through the MG SELECT luxury retail channel in two months.
Milind Shah, Interim Head of MG SELECT, said: "Securing the second spot in India's luxury EV segment is a testament to the phenomenal response our models have received. Both the MG Cyberster and the MG M9 Presidential Limousine are drawing discerning customers who seek something truly exclusive, whether it's the sheer exhilaration of open-top performance or the presence of uncompromising luxury. At MG SELECT, we're proud to create this exclusive ownership experience."

The MG Cyberster is a two-seater roadster featuring electric scissor doors, a soft-top roof and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The powertrain produces 510bhp and 725Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The vehicle is equipped with Brembo four-piston front brake callipers that can bring it to a stop from 100kmph in 33 metres. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tyres.
JSW MG Motor India has opened 14 MG Select Experience Centres across the country, where both the Cyberster and M9 Presidential Limousine are on display.
