TVS is eyeing a production timeline of late 2026 or early 2027 for the eFX 30.
After stamping its authority in the electric scooter segment, TVS now intends to venture into the electric motorcycle space. The Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer has filed patents for a new electric motorcycle concept named eFX 30 in India. This concept was showcased at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy a couple of months ago.
The eFX 30 is expected to take shape into TVS’ first electric motorcycle which is expected to go into production by 2026-27. The patent image gives a clear look at the bike’s overall styling and hardware layout. The patent image provides a clear view of the motorcycle’s overall design and hardware configuration.
Patent images of the TVS eFX 3O Concept showcase a bold, contemporary design highlighted by sharp bodywork and a distinctive rectangular headlamp. By the looks of it, the motorcycle is expected to be equipped with USD front forks, while a prominently visible battery pack — partially exposed rather than fully integrated into the fairing — underscores its electric character. The motorcycle is also expected to feature a dedicated integrated cooling system for effective thermal management.

Along the profile, the electric bike flaunts slim tank extensions, while the riding position appears mildly aggressive, aided by a low-set handlebar and a single-piece, rider-only seat. The patent drawings depict a solid rear wheel along with a belt drive and swingarm setup. Although these visual details may not make it to the final production-spec drivetrain, industry expectations suggest the use of a mid-mounted motor, a configuration known to offer improved cooling and performance benefits.

In terms of features, we can spot a compact rectangular digital instrument cluster. The patent images further reveal petal discs at both ends. TVS is expected to equip the eFX 3O with some form of ADAS technology along with an integrated dashcam system that should offer safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, collision alerts and overtake warnings. Other expected features on the eFX 3O include multiple ride modes, LED lighting, and advanced connectivity functions.

TVS hasn’t disclosed the battery and motors specifications of the eFX 3O since it’s still at a concept stage but when ready, it is likely to take on something like an Ultraviolette F77. The model is expected to be positioned as a premium, performance-oriented alternative to the Apache RTR 310, with an anticipated ex-showroom price of ₹2–3 lakh.
